The laneway homes at the University of Toronto are 3 passive homes located south of Sussex Avenue on Huron Street. This started as a 2014 study with the goal of revitalizing the Huron Sussex neighbourhood. These passive laneway homes feature solar panels and a Build Smart panel system. We were involved with site service (bringing in sanitary lines, water lines, electrical, site excavation), site demolition, site construction (foundations, footings, framing, drywall, paint, flooring, tiling), plumbing services, electrical/solar services, concrete services, asphalt services, roofing services, landscape services (inclusive of tree removal) and interior renovations.
